The aim of my courses will be to:
* Expand your perceptions and see the world and yourself in a different way
* Access the creative and intuitive part of yourself
* Use paint or drawing materials in specifically designed exercises
* Have enormous FUN
Free your creative self!
As busy adults, we rarely give ourselves time or permission to just 'play' and without this we can get stuck in our comfort zones and can feel blocked and restricted. Most people never have the opportunity to access the creative, intuitive part of themselves and simply just don’t know where to begin. Even practicing artists can get creative blocks.
These courses will help you to access your intuition and see where that inspiration takes you. Although the exercises will often result in abstract images I believe that the actual process of 'creating' will free your way of working and enhance the spontaneity and enjoyment during the making of your own artwork and even in other areas of your life too.
I fully intend the courses to be useful for people of all abilities as it goes beyond learning a specific technique such as painting a still life or throwing a pot, and will show you ways to access the nature of the creative process itself.
The cost of each morning course is £30 which includes all materials and light refreshments. The maximum class size is five people so there is ample opportunity for individual attention. Each workshop is designed to be a complete session in itself so just coming for one is perfect or do more if you want a greater challenge.
