‘Fundamental Elements’
I am excited to exhibit alongside Gill Hacket at Orie Art Gallery, Tokyo, Japan in 2023.

‘Albert Einstein said ‘Everything in this world is a form of energy.’
All things in the universe are continuously vibrating with their own frequencies. These frequencies exist in nature, space and inside our bodies. Everything vibrates at its own frequency and resonance is the rate at which things vibrate.
Sound frequencies move matter into patterns as waveforms. Cymatics is the science of visualising audio frequencies. It explores how sound and matter merge to make the fields of sound, geometry, light and mathematics become one.
This collection of work is based upon my intuitive interpretation of energetic frequencies. The formations visually embody this sense of universal vibration which can remind us to slow down and listen.
In our busy, fast-paced lives we do not often think about our own unique energetic frequencies and how they affect us.
My paintings are meditative and contemplative objects that I hope will help create this sense of alignment in the viewer.
Whilst looking at these paintings remind yourself that we are all energy. How we treat ourselves reflects how we create our own energy and our outer experience reflects our inner state. Still your mind and take a moment of contemplation to bring yourself back to your true energetic state.’

As well as displaying artwork in my window I will also be having a Super Studio Sale.
Sale pieces that include ceramic wall panels, ceramic pendants and some prints with many at less than half price!
The studio is in my garden and social distancing will be observed with only two people or one family in there at a time. There will also be a table in the garden for those who would rather browse outside.
Sale pieces are also available from my online shop and can be collected in person or delivered to you by courier.

Winter Open Studio
'END OF AN ERA' - Open Studio 2019
I am currently clearing out my studio in preparation for Cambridge Open Studios. It is a mammoth task getting rid of all the clay dust, buckets, boards and related items. There is a lot of accumulated stuff after working in this medium for 25 years! I am no longer making my ceramic wall panels which will allow me to pursue other areas of interest and develop new work. I will be photographing, sorting and cataloging all the remaining pieces and they will be available to buy from my studio and also on-line from 8th July. I will be open for two weekends in July 6th-7th and 13th-14th for this special event. I will also have some new prints on display. Get the dates in the diary and definitely come along!

'I am pleased to have been selected out of 1,100 other applications by Arts TV presenter, curator and mentor Kate Bryan as one of 30 female artists to show work as part of 'Not30%' at The College venue. The title takes its cue from the statistic that women are at best represented 30% of the time in the art world. This presentation draws attention to the gender bias of the artworld and actively positions these artists as a creative force not to be ignored. There are many changes underway in the artworld to address gender imbalance and Not 30% is happily part of a larger and urgent dialogue.'

Cambridge Original Printmakers Biennale is an exhibition of hand-pulled original prints that reflects the traditional, the contemporary, the adventurous, and the innovative styles that are alive in printmaking today.
Situated next to Bristol’s grande Temple Meads station, one of the oldest in the world, The Passenger Shed is amongst a hub of transport and activity in central Bristol. This larger, open space will allow us to expand and develop the Bristol fair further, introducing more unique and unexpected features and bringing more talented artists to Bristol in 2018!
